[Record Day 2026 Day 2 Limited Pressing]
The only original album by Murahachibu, featuring a free live performance recorded at Kyoto University Seibu Kodo on May 5, 1973.
Newly remastered, 2-LP colored vinyl edition. Pre-orders start today!

This is the only original album by Murahachibu, documenting a free concert held at Kyoto University Seibu Kodo on May 5, 1973, which was announced with almost no promotion.
The first pressing was released on July 3, 1973, just two months after the live show. However, Fujio announced his departure immediately following this performance, and with all other members moving to the U.S., it effectively served as the band's final concert.
Following the departure of Tetsu Asada, bassist Yoshiaki Kato switched to guitar, and Eiichi Mikage joined on bass. This is the only recording featuring this lineup, making it a masterpiece that remains in music history.
For this reissue, Soichiro Nakamura (Peace Music) has handled the latest remastering. It will be released as a 2-LP colored vinyl set, including an 8-page booklet. Pre-orders begin today.

[Murahachibu Profile]
Formed in Kyoto in 1969, centering on "Charbo" Kazushi Shibata (vocals) and former Dynamites member Fujio Yamaguchi (guitar).
They gained a reputation for their Rolling Stones-esque rock 'n' roll, but disbanded in 1973, leaving behind only the album "Live."
After a solo career, Yamaguchi formed Resort with Masayoshi Kabe, but it soon disbanded.
In the mid-80s, he formed Teardrops with former Murahachibu bandmates like Shinichi Aoki, releasing several works.
In the 90s, he returned to his solo career and made guest appearances on works by artists such as Sheena & The Rokkets.
