Hajime Tachibana / ZOUNDS! (12")

12-inch Relief Single "ZOUNDS!" to be Released in a Limited Edition on August 10th, the First in 40 Years

In 1986, Hajime Tachibana released the 12-inch single "Beauty and Modern Things," which featured a relief of a manga character by Osamu Tezuka etched onto the vinyl. Although it became a hot topic, Tachibana himself noted that "I thought everyone would copy it, but almost no one did." Now, that technology has been realized once again with a relief record created through laser etching—the first relief vinyl record in 40 years.
The release includes a remix of the new song "Jibun no Koto Dake Kangaeyo" (Think Only of Yourself) by Cornelius (Keigo Oyamada), and a remix of "Flow," which could be called one of Tachibana's theme songs, by Yann Tomita.
Both tracks are incredible results that showcase the individuality and talent of both artists. Mastering was handled by Soichiro Nakamura (Peace Music), known for his work with Yura Yura Teikoku.
This 12-inch is a highly valuable limited edition, so please be sure not to miss out!
