Musician Takehiro Esaki's second album, "Whispers of Silence." This work consists of 19 tracks of "music for one," woven together with tranquility and nostalgia at its core, delving into the artist's inner world. Upright and grand pianos, a dulcitone over 100 years old, an organ, and a mini piano were assembled in a hall in the forest of Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture, where the album was created during a three-day residency. The recording captured the entire spatial resonance, including the reverberation of the keys, the tones of synthesizers echoing in the hall, the chirping of birds, the rustling of the wind, and the flickering of an oil stove. With recording and mixing by Yu Sasaki and mastering by Gen Tanabe, the sound image has an analog warmth and texture, while also quietly opening up to the contemporary.
