Finally reissued for the first time! A coveted album for Japanese jazz collectors! A work by the 17-member big band led by Hideo Kanai (bass), exploring the possibilities of orchestral jazz performance.

The debut album by Kings Roar, led by Hideo Kanai, a bassist who was a driving force in Japanese jazz and, in the early 1960s, along with Masayuki Takayanagi and Masahiko Togashi, established the "New Century Music Research Institute," dedicating themselves to creating their own unique music and becoming pioneers of the avant-garde in Japan.

This album is truly "original," featuring not only compositions by Hideo Kanai and Juyo Kanda but also pieces by contemporary classical composers who graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, such as Shuko Mizuno and Hiroshi Nanatsuya.

The original pressing is rarely seen on the market and has been an extremely rare record since its release, never reissued on CD or made available for streaming!
The obi and label have been faithfully reproduced.
