Repress of musician Ayatake Ezaki's first album "Hajimari no Yoru," originally released in May 2023.
The album's concept is Tanizaki Junichiro's masterpiece "In Praise of Shadows," which describes Japanese aesthetics and sensibilities in an era before electric lights.
It paints a musical picture of light intertwined with the world of shadows during a single night, from sunset to sunrise.

Ezaki composed all tracks and played muted piano, while a diverse array of talented artists joined the sound.
Collaborations were realized with seven artists from various genres and fields of activity: Sweet William, Manami Kakudo, Kei Matsumaru, Ryoji Arai, Aoi Teshima, mei ehara, and Kenji Kihara.
A 36-minute fantastical soundscape emerges, blending diverse musical ideas and expressions such as piano solos, beat music, lullabies, jazz, children's songs, ambient, and post-classical.
