Oriental PUNK ROCK ORCHESTRA "TURTLE ISLAND" releases new EP "Jigoku Gokuraku / HELL PARADISE".
This masterpiece "Jigoku Gokuraku" was created through further evolution, featuring "Enter The Dragon" (Alternative Asian Trad) and "Passole" with the sole female vocalist, Takemai.
Danben Iida (Seppuku Pistols) participated in the JKT ART WORK and MV production for the title track, Naoyuki Uchida handled Recording & Mix, Shigeru Takezawa (Nippon Columbia) handled Vinyl Cutting, and Takaaki Mino (ONIW STUDIO) handled CD Mastering.
Pre-release in December 2025 at Kyoto Takutaku and Enoshima OPPA-LA. National distribution in early 2026.
And in summer, an EU TOUR.

TURTLE ISLAND
Formed in Toyota City at the end of the 20th century in 1999. After numerous member changes, it currently consists of 10 members. An Oriental punk orchestra that plays a diverse Far Eastern "Yorozu" sound, incorporating Japanese festival music (ohayashi), chindon, and other Mongolian grooves from Japan and Asia, as well as punk, rock, reggae, folk songs, and indigenous music from various countries.
They are active both domestically and internationally, exploring and pursuing music that makes their roots, genes, cells, and souls dance, while refining their unique worldview and melodies alongside the indigenous Zundoko beat of Japan and its surrounding Asian regions.
Organizer of the Hashinoshita World Music Festival.
