A talk event will be held to commemorate the vinyl reissue of Wataru Takada's three masterpiece albums: "FISHIN' ON SUNDAY," "Neko no Negoto," and "Wataru"!

Talk Event Commemorating the Analog Reissue of Three Wataru Takada Masterpieces: "FISHIN’ ON SUNDAY," "Neko no Negoto," and "Wataru" by Ren Takada & Koki Miura

Three masterpiece albums by Wataru Takada—"FISHIN’ ON SUNDAY," which marks its 50th anniversary this year since its 1976 release; "Neko no Negoto," released in 1983; and "Wataru," released 10 years later as his final original studio album—will be reissued for three consecutive months starting in May 2026.

To commemorate these releases, we welcome Wataru Takada’s son, musician and author Ren Takada, and Koki Miura, producer at Bellwood Records and founder of Japan Record. They will talk about the production secrets of the time and share memories of Wataru known only to his family, all while we listen to these newly remastered records played at high volume through vacuum tube amplifiers.
Two hours may not be enough to tell it all!
Please note that the three records will be available for purchase at the venue on the day.
