This is the only original album by Murahachibu, capturing a free concert held at Kyoto University Seibu Kodo on May 5, 1973, which was performed with almost no prior announcement.
The debut album was released on July 3, 1973—a rapid turnaround of just two months after the live show—but it marked their final performance, as Fujio announced his departure after this concert, and the other members subsequently moved to the United States, effectively leading to the band's breakup.
Following the departure of Tetsu Asada, bassist Yoshiaki Kato switched to guitar, and Eiichi Mikage was brought on to play bass; this is the only recording featuring this lineup and is a masterpiece that remains in music history.
For this reissue, Soichiro Nakamura (Peace Music) has handled the latest remastering, and the set will be released as a double-disc colored vinyl with an 8-page booklet. Pre-orders start today.

【Murahachibu Profile】
Formed in Kyoto in 1969, centered around vocalist Chabo (Kazushi Shibata) and former Dynamites guitarist Fujio Yamaguchi.
They gained a reputation for their Rolling Stones-esque rock 'n' roll, but disbanded in 1973 after leaving behind only the album "Live."
After a solo career, Yamaguchi formed Resort with Masayoshi Kabe, which also disbanded shortly after.
In the mid-80s, he formed Teardrops with former Murahachibu bandmate Shinichi Aoki and others, releasing several works.
In the 90s, he returned to his solo career and made guest appearances on works by artists such as Sheena & The Rokkets.
