【RELEASE INFO】Finally reissued for the first time! A much-coveted album for Japanese jazz collectors! This work explores the possibilities of orchestral jazz performance by a 17-member big band led by Hidenori Kanai (bass).

The debut album by Kings Roar, led by Hideo Kanai, a bassist who was a driving force in Japanese jazz. In the early 1960s, he co-founded the "New Century Music Research Institute" with Masayuki Takayanagi and Masahiko Togashi, dedicating himself to creating original music and pioneering the avant-garde in Japan.

This work is truly "original," featuring not only compositions by Hideo Kanai and Shigeo Kanda but also pieces by contemporary music and classical composers from Geidai (Tokyo University of the Arts), Shuko Mizuno and Hiroshi Nanatsuya.

The original pressing is a rare gem, seldom seen on the market since its release, and has never been reissued on CD or digitally distributed!

The obi strip and label have been faithfully reproduced.
