Here is the first album of Tokyo Local Honk on vinyl!

The debut album, originally released in 2005, has been freshly remixed and remastered by its original producer, Makoto Kubota. This new edition, featuring five bonus tracks, is now available as a double LP. The release also includes liner notes by Shinichi Ogawa.

In early 2001, the band members, together with producer Makoto Kubota, flew to Singapore to create this album, a masterpiece born from their collaboration. This blend of youthful spirit and seasoned skill is what gives Tokyo Local Honk its charm. Beneath it all, you’ll find dry wit and a playful sense of humor peeking through.

Formed in 1994 under the name "Uzumaki," the band was renamed "Tokyo Local Honk" in 2001. To date, they’ve released four albums, including a live recording. In addition to their works, they have collaborated with various artists and contributed to documentary soundtracks. While they've worked to improve many aspects—lyrics, melodies, harmonies, and arrangements—their true focus is on delivering captivating performances and interacting with the audience. A little bit quirky four-member group, currently performing as a trio due to one member’s temporary absence, is now, unapologetically focused on the music.

This fall marks the 30th anniversary of their formation, and a new album is set to be released to commemorate the occasion.

Driven by their belief that the pursuit of small truths, goodness, and beauty in daily life can break through the stagnation of our times, Tokyo Local Honk is a joyful band that continues to move forward.
