The recently unearthed cassette tape master of Murahachibu performances from their 2-day concert at Kyoto University Western Auditorium in January 1973 has undergone the latest remastering by Makoto Kubota and is being released on vinyl for the first time. This release features a certain track unreleased before.

The one-man live concert held over two consecutive days on January 6 and 7, 1973, at Kyoto University Western Auditorium was officially recorded live, and later, seven tracks selected by Kazushi Shibata known as "Char-bō" were included in the CD "1972 - 1973".
Now, for the first time, an analog release has been realized using a newly discovered, well-preserved cassette master owned by Char-bō himself!

Last summer, his family accidentally discovered the cassette tape he owned. This cassette, which contains the January 1973 two-day concert, is in significantly better condition than the tape used for the CD release. Using this cassette master, Makoto Kubota, who also produced the third album "MIXIN' LOVE" for Fujio Yamaguchi's band "TEARDROPS", has undertaken the latest remastering.
This release includes a previously unreleased instrumental track performed at the end of the second day of the two-day concert.

A noteworthy feature of this release is the inclusion of two tracks, "Ten Made Nobore" and "Murasaki aka. Koishiya", which can only be heard in this release. The distinctive sound, where Fujio Yamaguchi's guitar, reminiscent of koto and shamisen melodies, blends beautifully with Tetsu Asada's feedback, and Charbo's haiku-influenced Japanese lyrics, remains unparalleled even today. The guitar interplay between Fujio and Tetsu in "Ten Made Nobore" represents the best of Murahachibu's twin-guitar performance.

The widely known "Live Murahachibu" album captures their final live performance in May 1973, after Tetsu Asada had left and Fujio Yamaguchi had decided to leave. As Char-bō mentioned, "Murahachibu began with Tetsu and ended with the leave of Tetsu", highlighting the significant difference in sound between the band with Tetsu and after his departure.
This ultimate live album, featuring the last performances with the crucial member Tetsu Asada, will be released for the first time on vinyl, not only domestically but worldwide.
The inner sleeve features photos from the live concert day taken by Makoto Hayashi, who also shot the cover photo for "Live Murahachibu" and the jacket includes special foil stamping.
