Takuro Okada the Latest: The Original Soundtrack for Ei Yamamoto's Film "After the Fever" Released on Vinyl!

Takuro Okada, a name synonymous with the Japanese alternative scene, known for his work as a producer, arranger, and guitarist for artists like Satoko Shibata, Yucca, and never young beach, has once again showcased his talent. Following the disbandment of "Mori wa Ikiteiru" and his groundbreaking 2022 album "Betsu No Jikan," Okada's latest work comes as the original soundtrack for Ei Yamamoto's film "After the Fever" now available on vinyl.

The soundtrack features music that seamlessly blends into the film's atmosphere, serving as an indispensable theme that evolves gracefully, much like a minimalist ambient piece. Okada himself plays numerous instruments, including piano and acoustic guitar. His bandmates, saxophonist Kei Matsumaru and double bassist Hiroki Chiba contribute their harmonious sounds. 
With mastering by Jim O'Rourke, whom Okada deeply respects, and artwork by Toru Kase, this album is set to become a landmark in soundtrack history.
