Following the worldwide release and significant impact of CITTA' '93, the performance held at Kichijoji Baus Theater on February 13, just four days before, is now being released as BAUS '93. This performance, marking the return of Rallizes after a five-year hiatus, is also known for its legendary performance.

Mastered from an 8-channel digital multi-track, along with cassette recordings from the venue and stereo outputs from the mixing console, Mako Kubota has once again crafted the mixing & mastering with great care. In BAUS '93, just like CITTA' '93, the concert of Rallizes is reconstructed with a sound image that has never been heard before.

The lineup for the day consisted of Takashi Mizutani (Vo, G), Katsuhiko Ishii (G), Kihiro Takada (B), and Toshiaki Mikami (Dr). With a rhythm section different from the performance four days later, you can experience a different expression of the performance compared to the previous release CITTA' '93. The analog version will be a 2-disc set with an “obi” strip.

The commentary for this release was written by Jennifer Lucy Allan, known for her work as a writer for "The Wire" and "The Quietus," and who also hosts programs on BBC Radio. Additionally, Julian Cope, renowned for his work as the author of the intriguing book Japrock Sampler, introducing Japanese underground rock including Rallizes to the world, has contributed a special essay.
