Rakita, who is the guitarist of the funk band "Zuttozuretels" which was formed with his friends and the bandmates of OKAMOTO'S, who is the son of the vocalist of the legendary band "Bo Gumbos", led the rock scene in Japan and caused a sensation nationwide, his first album is to be released!

For this debut album, Rakita brought in Pardon Kimura for production. The recording took place at a traditional house studio in Hayama and the Don To-In Hakukakudo in Okinawa, along with his band members. The eagerly awaited debut album is filled with the world of Rakita, ranging from mellow and tricky to exhilarating band sounds!

Fresh sounds and voices bubbled up from the spring of music, are now dancing freely in the wind. Blues, folk, human-powered electronica... Various genres of music are fused together, but it feels as if all these music styles have gathered around Rakita like an oasis, brimming with a sense of bliss that permeates from the music itself.

In an era where genres and scenes have become increasingly segmented, and music itself has long existed as a business tool, Rakita, and albums like Flying Rock, where "The lives with music who are born free from the moment of birth" play rock, hold profound meaning. The gods of music must surely be celebrating the birth of this album with raised hands. Or perhaps, Rakita is the child of music born from those very gods. Rakita, who had played guitar in Zuttozuretels, is now singing as a solo artist. Singing with a heart's knife in his right hand and a guitar held high in his left, Rakita's voice itself is like a gospel directed towards the sky, the sea, and the earth.
